Asticou Sand Garden Renovation

Together with a COLLAB design team (www.Collab-la.com) IDDLA worked closely with our client and their gardeners to document and detail necessary renovations to this historic, cultural landscape originally designed by Charles K. Savage in 1958 using plants from Beatrix Farrand’s Reef Point estate. Stacked tile walls, viewing area seating & paving were restored using original materials while the curved illuminated fence, pale sand & plantings were renovated in keeping with the original design, nuance & proportion, deferring always to the original design intent.
